The management of Asansol Collegiate School has been established under the aegis of the Raniganj Institute of Computer Education (RICE) and its parent Educational Society. This society was formed by distinguished personalities who have each made a significant impact in their respective fields, bringing together a wealth of expertise and vision for educational advancement.
Since its inception, the society has played a pivotal role in higher education. Beginning in 2001, it has successfully conducted B.B.A. (Hons.) and B.C.A. (Hons.) degree courses, initially affiliated with the University of Burdwan and later with Kazi Nazrul University, at the Raniganj Institute of Information Technology (RIIT). These programs have contributed to nurturing professional talent in business administration and computer applications, aligning with the growing demand for skilled graduates in these domains.
The society’s journey in education, however, began even earlier. In 1996, it took charge of the Asansol Girls’ College Computer Training Center, where its members gained valuable hands-on experience in teaching computer applications. Their work included imparting knowledge to B.Com (3rd Year) students under the University of Burdwan, as well as guiding Higher Secondary students in computer application and computer science. This early involvement laid the foundation for the society’s expertise in technical education and strengthened its commitment to integrating modern technology into academic curricula.
Through these initiatives, the society has demonstrated a consistent focus on quality education, innovation, and professional development. Its leadership in managing Asansol Collegiate School reflects a legacy of academic excellence, technological empowerment, and holistic growth for students.
